37th Annual Day Celebration – A Spectacular Evening of Culture and Talent

The 37th Annual Day Celebration of Sai Matriculation Higher Secondary School was held with grandeur, enthusiasm, and vibrant cultural splendour, leaving the audience mesmerized with a breath taking showcase of talent and tradition. The entire campus radiated festivity as students, teachers, parents, and dignitaries gathered to witness an unforgettable evening celebrating art, culture, and achievement.

The programme commenced on an auspicious note with the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp by Mrs. Revathi Sai Prakash, Connoisseur N. Murugesan, Principal G. Ashok, Educators Mrs. Elsy Kutty Thomas and Mrs. P. Soba, symbolising the triumph of knowledge, wisdom and enlightenment.

The celebration began with a soulful prayer song rendered by the students, invoking divine blessings for the success of the event. This was followed by the Scouts and Guides pledge, reflecting discipline, leadership, unity, and commitment among the students.

The programme began with an inspiring welcome address by Mr. Sathish CBO, who encouraged the students to dream big and strive for excellence in every sphere of life. This was followed by an enlightening speech by Mr. Muthuvairavan CSO, who emphasized perseverance, dedication, and character building as the true foundations of success. Principal G. Ashok then presented the Annual Report, proudly highlighting the remarkable academic achievements, co-curricular accomplishments, and milestones attained by the institution during the academic year.

The Chief Guest of the evening, renowned personality KPY Bala, was warmly honoured by
Mrs. Revathi Sai Prakash. His energetic and thought-provoking speech captivated the audience
and inspired the students with valuable life lessons on hard work, humility, and determination.

The cultural extravaganza unfolded with the divine dance presentation “Andal Kalyanam,” a graceful classical performance that filled the atmosphere with spirituality and devotion. A colourful series of folk, classical, thematic, and traditional dance performances followed, portraying the richness and diversity of Indian culture.

Students enthralled the audience with vibrant harvest festival dances representing Pongal and Bihu, celebrating joy, prosperity, and gratitude. Spectacular performances depicting Christmas, Krishna Jayanthi, and Ramzan beautifully conveyed the message of unity in diversity and communal harmony.

The stage then transformed into a global cultural arena with energetic international dance performances inspired by Japanese, Hawaiian, and Balinese traditions, showcasing the spirit of
world culture and artistic harmony.

Traditional Indian celebrations such as Thaipoosam, Onam, Ganesh Chathurthi, Ram Navami, and Kumbh Mela were magnificently portrayed through dazzling thematic dance presentations and colourful costumes, reflecting the grandeur of Indian heritage and spirituality. Performances dedicated to Indian deities added a divine and majestic touch to the celebration.

The audience was further captivated by mesmerizing Sufi dance performances, graceful Oppana presentations, social theme-based dances, and patriotic performances that highlighted cultural harmony, artistic excellence, and national pride.

Our CEO Sai Prakash sir addressed the gathering with inspiring speeches, appreciating the students for their dedication and remarkable performances. The life story of Chairman Leo Muthu Sir was enacted as a drama to inspire the students with his journey of determination, vision, and success.

The 37th Annual Day Celebration concluded on a memorable note, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education, cultural enrichment, and the all-round development of students. The evening stood as a glorious celebration of talent, tradition, creativity, and unity.
