Veetukkoru Vignani 2019 a state wide competition was conducted by Puthiya Thalaimurai to identify young innovators amongst the Tamilnadu Student community.

The competition was split into two phases. Initially a district wise round was conducted across the state and the district winners would qualify to participate in Tamilnadu finals to be held in Trichy.

According to this, Puthiyathalaimurai conducted the competition for Kanchipuram District on 17th Aug 2019 at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Kanchipuram.

Nearly more than 480 children from 30 schools have participated and displayed 240 models. The chief guests Dr.Ganesh Subramanian, Ganesh IAS Academy and Dr.Mukesh Krishnan, Associate professor of SRM University Inaugurated this competition.

Our school Children, Master.A.Sriaravindh and Master S.Kanishkk from VIIC participated in this competition for Junior level under the Topic “Water Recycling, Water Management. They have made a working model and gave an innovative idea to solve our present drastic issue of “Water Scarcity” with a low cost, Zero wastage and eco-friendly.

For this great innovation, they were awarded first prize for district level and selected for state level which will be held in Trichy, tentatively in the second week of November. Students received medals, a trophy, a shield, certificates and also Rs.20000/- worth gift voucher.
