Co-curricular activities help students study more effectively and find and develop their inherent capabilities and enriches their learning experience.

Sairam Vidyalaya’s sports program focuses on the holistic development of students by fostering teamwork, discipline, and resilience through a variety of sports, including athletics, ball badminton, softball,throwball,volleyball, skating, silambam, archery, karate, chess, football, basketball, badminton, and traditional games like kho-kho and kabaddi. With state-of-the-art facilities and expert coaches, students receive personalized training and opportunities to participate in inter-house competitions and inter-school tournaments. Archery is great physical exercise. Drawing a bow takes energy, burning calories and toning and strengthening muscles in your arms and back.

The marching band gives students the opportunity to interact and work together with other from various academic pursuits, races, cultures, and backgrounds.

This helps to develop habits of personal cleanliness & manners, to be courteous and to cultivate social virtues.

Through dance, students learn teamwork, focus, and improvisational skills. Dance also enables students to better understand themselves by helping them realize their potential.

Karate training offers many benefits for young children. Improved physical fitness, superior mind-body coordination, and self-discipline are just some of the characteristics of a martial art practitioner that immediately come to mind.

The benefits of starting a music club in school are numerous. Music clubs provide students with an opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their skills, which can lead to increased self-confidence and better grades.

To develop qualities of Character, Courage, Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure and Sportsmanship, besides the ideals of Selfless Service among the youth to make them useful citizens.

Scouting is an excellent platform for personal growth because it provides opportunities for young people to develop self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-reliance.

Skating for exercise helps kids burn off extra energy, build strong muscles, and maintain a healthy weight.

Yoga also teaches students self-control by skillfully controlling both their breathing and movements. Once the students learn the tricks of controlling their breath and movements, they do not act hastily and consequently keep their anger in check and make rational decisions when required.
